Rangsutra is a community owned company of over a thousand artisans. Their goal is to provide employment to rural artisans based on the principles of ethical trade and a celebration of India & it's rich craft heritage. They are equally committed to offering high quality products for contemporary usage to socially and environmentally conscious global citizens. They work with close to 2000 artisans, most of whom are home based in rural remote villages of Western Rajasthan in India. Most of these artisans have little or no access to markets to sell their products. They provide regular employment to them, through sale of products created and produced by our team of designers and all the artisans. Artisans are shareholders in the company and any profit made goes back to them in the form of dividends. Their products include garments for men women and children, accessories, jewellery and home furnishing.They work closely with artisans to develop products using hand appliqu & eacute , hand embroidery, tie and dye, shibori, handloom weaving, pit loom, extra weft weaving, leather craft and jewellery craft techniques.
